Change Maximum Corpus Upload File Size

The PoolParty Corpus allows to Upload Documents From Your Local Drive. Since raw files are stored on the server, a file size limit can be specified to prevent unwanted consumption of disc space on the server.

The following settings can be added to the The poolparty.properties File file to change the default behavior.

  • corpus.large.file.upload=<size in bytes>

Defines the maximum file upload size (Default: 10485760 bytes = 10 MB).

    Example: corpus.large.file.upload=20971520

Note

When the file size limit is exceeded by a file selected for corpus upload, you will receive the following message in the corpus upload dialog:

'You have selected documents exceeding the recommended size for upload to your corpus. Corpus management provides best results if a large number of smaller documents are provided.

You can deselect those files before you start the upload.'
