PoolParty Installation
This section provides all details required to install your PoolParty instance on a Linux server both as a fresh installation and an upgrade.
You have to make sure that your server satisfies the minimum system requirements.
This guide also covers the installation and upgrade of the PoolParty Workbench as well as details on how to switch over from Solr to Elasticsearch along with information on how you can migrate the existing Solr indices to Elasticsearch.
Note
Use of Solr as an index will be deprecated starting from the PoolParty 2024 Release 2 version. For details on how you can change over from Solr to Elastic search refer to Switching from Solr to Elasticsearch in PoolParty; while the section Migrating Index from Solr to Elasticsearch on Linux will guide you through the index migration process from Solr to Elasticsearch.
Note
Starting from PoolParty 2024 Release 2 only installations on Debian 12 as the tested distribution are fully covered by our SLAs. While we are happy to assist with installation on other distributions, this support is provided on a best-effort basis or through our dedicated Development Support package.
