Installation Guide
There are several prerequisites to be satisfied before you can start installing the PoolParty Semantic Suite:
Make sure that your server meets the PoolParty System Requirements
Configure your server observiving the following instructions:
Verify that you have the required OpenJDK version specified in the PoolParty System Requirements, otherwise install it.
Define a user (e.g. "poolparty") on the server where the Apache Tomcat web server will be running.
It is recommended to run the installation process as a root user to ensure smooth PoolParty installation.
Note
The PoolParty Installer is shipped with a preconfigured Apache Tomcat 9 web server.
The PoolParty installer also includes preconfigured Keycloak setup.
PoolParty currently supports Elasticsearch 8.12.1
Use of Solr as an index will be deprecated starting from the PoolParty 2024 Release 2 version. For details on how you can change over from Solr to Elastic search refer to Switching from Solr to Elasticsearch in PoolParty; while the section Migrating Index from Solr to Elasticsearch on Linux will guide you through the index migration process from Solr to Elasticsearch.
