Migrating the Index

This section is comprised of two topics guiding you through the required migration of the index from Solr to Elasticsearch since the PoolParty 2024 Release 2 is the last PoolParty version supporting both Solr and Elasticsearch as an index.

All tasks can be carried out using the command line. You can verify whether the process has been successful by logging to PoolParty Middleware Configurator and checking the active index after having completed the switch-over from Solr to Elasticsearch.

First topic covers the change-over from Solr to Elasticsearch while the other describes how you can migrate any existing Solr indices to Elasticsearch.
