Abstract

Ontology Details View - Individual Relations Node

This section contains a short guide on how to use the Details View of an individual Relations node.

You can access the Details View of the an individual class node using the Ontology Management.

The Details View for Core Ontologies and Custom Ontologies is basically the same. Except that you cannot edit Title and Description of core ontologies.

  1. Open the Ontology Management by clicking its icon in the toolbar.

  2. Find the Core Ontologies or Custom Ontologies node inside the Ontologies node. Expand it to display all ontology nodes.

  3. Expand the respective Ontology node you want to see in more detail.

  4. Expand the Relations node to see the relations tree. Sub-property relations are displayed as a hierarchy tree of relations below the Relations node.

  5. Select the individual Relations node in the tree you want to see, for example 'consists of'. In the Details View you see the following information:

    • The blue sections on the left display the Subpropertie s defined for this class. In addition you see if the class is Subproperty Of another relation. You also see the Domain and Range definitions for this relation.

    • The green sections on the right display the Title and Description of the relation in all defined languages. For custom ontologies you can change and add Titles and Descriptions.
