Semantic Middleware Configurator - Linked Open Data Caches
This section provides details on how to set up and maintain the connection to the Linked Open Data sources in PoolParty's Semantic Middleware Configurator.
Per default PoolParty is set up to use the Linked Open Data cache (LOD cache) PoolParty provides. But you can set up your own LOD cache and configure the available Linked Open Data sources in PoolParty to fetch data from there.
After you have accessed the SMC (1), the LOD node (2) below the Systems node can be expanded (3) displaying entries for all available cache types.
In the Details View on the right (4) you will see a list of all available configurations, their respective names, URL, if alternative credentials have been used and the Delete icon for each:
The following types of LOD caches can be set up, DBPedia provided by default:
DBPedia (default)
GeoNames
Getty
LCSH
PermID
Wikidata
Wordnet
