Improvements
GraphSearch has been improved:
We have increased the default size limit for documents indexed with GraphSearch. The size limit can now be configured in The poolparty.properties File.
We have removed the length restrictions on document excerpts returned by the search. This makes it possible to show more text to the user on the frontend and gives more meaning to the search results.
We have extended the rights of the PoolPartyAdmin and ApiAdmin users so that they can create, update and delete content in GraphSearch. This avoids the need to give SuperAdmin role to API service users so that they can manage content.
Bug Fixes
Deleting a concept that is a member of an ordered collections does not break that collection anymore.
The alphabetical search concept index in the Linked Data Frontend works again.
Data from projects with specified language locales (e.g.
en-US
for the U.S. variant of English orfr-BE
for the Belgian variant of French) now shows correctly on the Linked Data Frontend.Migration procedure for PoolParty servers with a Keycloak instance in secure mode has been modified so that Keycloak starts up properly after upgrade.
The Corpus Management can now resolve concept URIs with encoded whitespace characters.
The Corpus Management is now more robust against overlarge documents.
The way time stamps were used to filter data in API History Services was changed in a previous version and could lead to inconsistent results. This has been resolved and filtering data based on time stamps now works the same way as before.
SKOS-XL labels now have correct time stamps.
We have optimized resource handling of the Files Upload DPU to prevent UnifiedViews from becoming unresponsive.
You can again use custom attributes of Date/Time and Date type in PoolParty projects.
Security Fixes
We have updated Spring Core to versions 5.3.29 and 5.3.30 to address CVE-2023-34034 (A06:2021 – Vulnerable and Outdated Components).
We have updated Babel Traverse to version 7.23.2 to address CVE-2023-45133 (A06:2021 – Vulnerable and Outdated Components).
The PoolPartyReadOnly users cannot change content in the PoolParty Semantic Classifier anymore (A07:2021 – Identification and Authentication Failures).
We have increased security by reducing the amount of information PoolParty returns in server headers (A05:2021 – Security Misconfiguration).
