Delete Custom Ontologies
This section contains a short guide on how to delete a custom ontology.
Open the Ontology Management by clicking its icon in the toolbar.
Select the Custom Ontologies node and activate the desired ontology's node.
In the Details View on the right, click Delete.
Alternatively select Delete Ontology from the context menu. A message appears asking you to confirm the deletion of the ontology:
Click Delete to confirm.
Note
If elements of the ontology are used in other ontologies or in a custom scheme, an error message will be displayed stating the first used element found. In that case you cannot delete the ontology.

Delete Classes, Relations or Attributes of a Custom Ontology
This section contains a short guide on how to delete individual classes, relations and attributes from a custom ontology.
Open the Ontology Management by clicking its icon in the toolbar.
Find the Custom Ontologies node inside the Ontologies node. Expand it to display all ontology nodes.
Expand the respective Ontology node you want to see in more details from.
Select the Classes, Relations or Attributes node.
In the Details View on the click the Delete icon for the respective class relation or attribute in the table.
Alternatively select Delete in the context menu of the individual class, relation or attribute node.
Note
If you delete a relation, the respective inverse relation will be deleted automatically too.
Note
If the class, relation or attribute is used in a custom scheme, an error massage is displayed and you cannot delete the class, relation or attribute:
This also applies if you do one of the following:
You delete a class defined as subclass, so the respective parent class has to be deleted first.
You delete a class that is defined as domain or range for a relation or attribute.
You delete a relation or attribute defined as subproperty, in that case the respective parent property has to be deleted first.
