PoolParty System Requirements
General System Requirements
Make sure to install PoolParty Semantic Suite on a system running one of the specified versions of the respective operating system:
64bit GNU/Linux Server (CentOS/RHEL/Oracle Linux 7 and 8) (recommended) or
64bit Windows Server (Windows Server 2019 and 2016)
Important
Starting with the PoolParty 2024 Release 2 there will be no Windows support for new PoolParty on-premise customers. Current customers running PoolParty on Windows will continue to be supported with upgrades. In addition we will drop support for Windows Server 2016 for on-premise installations of PoolParty, as Microsoft is no longer supporting this version. We will move to supporting Windows Server 2022 only.
Note
Semantic Classifier is supported only if you run PoolParty on a GNU/Linux Server.
Java Runtime Environment
Make sure a Java Runtime Environment is in place. The current PoolParty version requires OpenJDK 17.
You can check your Java version by typing the following command in a console:
java -version
Elasticsearch
The current PoolParty version ships with Elasticsearch version 8.12.1
Keycloak
The current PoolParty version ships with Keycloak 25.0.1
Apache Tomcat
The current PoolParty version ships with Apache Tomcat 9.0.9
Web Application Servers Requirements
In addition to the general requirements the following memory and disk space requirements apply:
Memory:
Advanced Server:
minimum 8 GB RAM dedicated to the web application server (16 GB recommended)
Enterprise Server, Search Server, Semantic Integrator:
minimum 16 GB RAM dedicated to the web application server (32 GB recommended)
For all configuration levels:
minimum 2GB RAM dedicated to PooParty's integrated Apache Solr server
Hard disk space dedicated to the web application server:
minimum 2.5 x available RAM, for example:
8GB RAM = 20GB disk space
16GB RAM = 40GB disk space
32GB RAM = 80GB disk space
