The automatic tagging now works using the SharePoint-native Managed Metadata columns and terms from Term Store.
The Term Store Synchronization feature has been extended to:
allow an initial synchronization of taxonomies from Term Store to PoolParty.
preserve the term GUIDs (Globally Unique Identifiers) across synchronizations.
The solution has been hardened to recover if the PoolParty server becomes unresponsive.
The communication between the Azure functions and the PoolParty server is now by default protected by OAuth 2.0.
It is now possible to enable Microsoft Entra authentication for the Azure functions, thus only allowing users with the appropriate permissions to reach them.
We have extended the configuration options to only allow tagging of files with certain extensions and maximum size to help you lower Azure traffic and associated costs.
The logs now refresh more frequently and include timestamps along with a clearer indication of severity (information, warning or error).
The PoolParty for SharePoint Administration, Search and the dialog for manual tagging now show the application's version.
You can now connect a SharePoint list or library to a single PoolParty taxonomy multiple times, allowing you to define a customized configuration for each connection.
The solution is fully compatible with PoolParty 2024 R1 (9.3.0).
A bug causing an incorrect result count in PoolParty for SharePoint Search has been resolved.
