Release Notes - Application Development Framework 2022 R2 (1.1.0)

We are introducing the new PoolParty Application Development Framework (ADF), which is a low-code development framework for the PoolParty Semantic Suite. The framework works on top of the PoolParty API and allows you to easily create and train semantic AI applications by providing an additional layer of customization and integration mechanisms.

. ADF Search Application 2022 R2 (1.1.0)

The ADF Search Application 1.1.0 comes with the following features:

  • Main User Interface

    The main user interface of the ADF Search Application allows users to perform search over documents from a connected PoolParty GraphSearch instance, leveraging various PoolParty's APIs. Users can:

    • Drill down the list of document results using facets, making content navigation more intuitive.

    • Search for concepts and use them as filters to further refine search results.

    • Easily perform full-text search.

    • Generate and share a URL for a specific combination of search filters.

  • Configuration Backend

    The configuration backend of the ADF Search Application enables administrators to customize the appearance and functionality of the main user interface. Administrators can:

    • Authenticate with PoolParty credentials, while authorization is based on PoolParty groups.

    • Create and manage multiple configurations for the main user interface, selecting one as the active configuration.

    • Customize how document results should look like on the main user interface, including options to display them as text or images and what details should be shown for each result.

    • Display similar documents for any result item as text or images on the main user interface, with the option to select the GraphSearch similarity plugin to use.

    • Display document recommendations for any result item in text or image format on the main user interface, with the option to select the recommender plugin to use.

    • Customize the background and font colors of all major elements on the main user interface.

    • Select which facets to present to users as filters on the main user interface and configure how they are displayed.

    • Select which facets to present to users on the document's Details View.

    • View a change log for all configurations. The change log provides detailed information on who made changes, what values were modified and when these changes occurred.
