Release Notes - Application Development Framework 2024 R2 (1.4.0)
25/11/2024
The ADF Search Application 2024 R2 (1.4.0) comes with highly requested fixes and features.
Highlights
Starting from Application Development Framework 2024 Release 2, ADF Search and the PoolParty Workbench are interconnected:
You can easily import inference tagging configurations created using the PoolParty Workbench. A list of inferred tags is displayed on the document's details page.
Recommendation configurations created on the PoolParty Workbench which use the PoolParty's recommender service can be imported. A list of recommendations is loaded live on the document's details page for each of the recommendation configurations.
Obtaining recommendations using GraphSearch plugins remains supported using the Legacy Recommendation Settings section on the Details View Settings tab.
Improvements
When PoolParty is present, the installer now stores data in the PoolParty data directory. During upgrades, existing ADF database files will be automatically migrated to this location if ADF and PoolParty share a Tomcat instance.
Bug Fixes
Updated authentication to correctly handle refresh tokens for maintaining active user sessions.
Resolved an issue where users remained logged in to ADF with an expired access token after manually logging out from PoolParty.
