Working With PoolParty Projects - Overview

A PoolParty project is a container used to hold one or more concept schemes (thesauri).

This section provides detailed instructions on how to create new projects from various sources, how to open existing PoolParty projects or delete them. You find detailed information on what to expect after each step. You will find out about two additional metadata formats used for describing PoolParty projects, namely VoID and ADMS.

Correct settings for each project are crucial to any thesaurus project. Therefore precise information on how to change settings for existing projects or define them for new projects are available. At the same time, you can change the languages and access rights for the PoolParty project.

PoolParty offers an autosave function you can set for each project, to make sure snapshots of the project are saved at regular intervals without additional user intervention. This section also shows how to check on the information of the latest snapshot that has been saved.
