Blacklist Concepts and Terms

This section contains a short guide on how to blacklist concepts and terms from inside of one of the two lists.

The Extracted Concepts List and the Extracted Terms List each allow you to blacklist terms or concepts listed there.

The following results can be expected from blacklisting terms or concepts.

  • Blacklisting terms in the Extracted Terms list means that those terms are excluded from extraction. By that you will not get them as result performing an extraction via the Extraction API or performing a corpus analysis.

  • Blacklisting concepts in the Extracted Concepts list means that those concepts with all their labels are excluded from extraction. By that you will not get them as result performing an extraction via the Extraction API or performing a corpus analysis.

How to Blacklist Terms and Concepts

You can add extracted concepts and terms to the blacklist by clicking the Add to Blacklist icon (1,2).

You can review all terms and concepts that have been blacklisted for this project in via the Backlist node in the Corpus Management Tree .
